Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that match tickets for the eagerly-awaited Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates are already on sale.

The much-anticipated Absa Premiership match is scheduled for October 27 at the FNB Stadium. While both giants of South African football are set to first play in the Telkom Knockout over the weekend of 20-21 October, it has been confirmed that tickets for their league match have already gone on sale.
"The Soweto derby tickets are already on sale. The Absa Premiership game between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 27 October (kick-off is at 15:30). Matches between Amakhosi and the Buccaneers are always a sold-out affair, so please Khosi buy your tickets early," confirmed Chiefs on the club's official website.

Last season, the first Soweto derby was played on October 21 at FNB Stadium, finished in a 0-0 draw, while the second round clash at the same match venue on March 03 ended in a 3-1 win for Bucs.
