As things stand Pirates have scored nine league goals in five league games while Amakhosi have only found the back of the net four times in their last five encounters.

Furthermore, The Ghost have a greater average of players scoring regularly over their long-standing rivals. One of the key players for the Parktown based side on Saturday will be Ghanaian attacker Bernard Morrison, who is in rich goalscoring form having bagged a brace both in the league and Nedbank Cup.

Zambian striker Justin Shonga will be another trump card for the coach, Milutin Sredojevic as the Zambian international has scored three times in his last five league appearances.

Other Bucs players who have contributed to this campaign include winger Luvuyo Memela with 3 league goals and Thamsanqa Gabuza also with three goals.

The midfield is another area where Pirates have excelled with the likes of Memela and Thembinkosi Lorch who lead the pack with 4 and 3 assists each respectively.

Pirates and Chiefs square off at the FNB stadium on Saturday 3 March 2018, with the game scheduled to start at 15:30.
