On Saturday, June 24, Mexico will face off against Russia in the FIFA Confederations Cup. The Mexicans drew their previous match, while the hosts secured a 2-0 win which will see them going into the encounter the more confident side.

After New Zealand's loss to Russia, the All Whites will be hoping to turn the corner as they take on Portugal. However, the Portuguese drew their previous match and are also going all out for a win.

The Nedbank Cup final between SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates will take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, June 24. The Buccaneers will be out for revenge after Matsatsantsa's victory on two occasions in the league.

Chile will go into their fixture on a high after their win against Cameroon. Juan Antonio Pizzi's team will battle out against Australia on Sunday, June 25, who suffered a 3-2 defeat against Germany.

African champions, Cameroon, will face off against tough opposition when the take on Germany. The Germans are unbeaten and will be looking to continue their positive streak, however, the Indomitable Lions will be hoping to finish the encounter as winners.

Mexico v Russia (FIFA Confederations Cup)

FIFA rankings: Mexico 17th Russia 63rd

Useful facts: Mexico will be feeling upbeat having salvaged a draw against Portugal in their opening game, while Russia has already managed to secure a straightforward win over New Zealand. However, the hosts will be underdogs in this game and this will undoubtedly prove to be a real test for them. Mexico has only lost two games in their last 15 and will be certain to hold their own, while Russia has lost six in that timeframe.

Papi Zothwane: I'm going with Mexico, 2-0.

New Zealand v Portugal (FIFA Confederations Cup)

FIFA rankings: New Zealand 95th Portugal 8th

Useful facts: This seems to be a somewhat straightforward game, but an upset can always be on the cards, with New Zealand having won six of their last eight competitive games. However, Portugal has won the same number in that timeframe and will be determined not to slip up as they did against Mexico last weekend.

Papi Zothwane: Portugal will win.

SuperSport Utd v Orlando Pirates (Nedbank Cup)

League rankings: SuperSport 5th Pirates 11th (Absa Premiership)

Useful facts: A repeat of last season's final, where SuperSport came out on top, this game has several subplots, including Stuart Baxter's swansong. This is also Pirates' last chance to salvage something to celebrate their 80th anniversary after a disappointing season by their standards. However, the Buccaneers won't have high hopes, having lost 10 of their last 22 games against the Tshwane-based club, including a 6-1 loss in November last year.

Papi Zothwane: I'm going with SuperSport.

Chile v Australia (FIFA Confederations Cup)

FIFA rankings: Chile 4th Australia 48th

Useful facts: Australia hasn't beaten Chile in the only two games between the two sides, of which the most recent was in the 2014 World Cup, where Chile won 3-1. However, the team from Down Under has lost just three of their last 15 games, while Chile has lost four in that timeframe.

Papi Zothwane: Chile

Germany v Cameroon (FIFA Confederations Cup)

FIFA rankings: Germany 3rd Cameroon 32nd

Useful facts: Germany are undefeated in three games against Cameroon, keeping clean sheets in two of those games and scoring seven goals overall. The world champions are also undefeated in 14 of their last 15 games, while Cameroon's loss to Chile on the weekend was their first in 2017.

Papi Zothwane: I think Germany will win this one.
