SUNDOWNS
Iqraam Rayners
The former Stellenbosch FC striker is having an incredible first season with Sundowns, proving to be one of their most influential figures in attack. Rayners has banged in an impressive 21 goals in all competitions, together with his nine assists. He is yet to find the back of the net in the knockout phase of the competition and is probably itching to get his name on the scoresheet and inspire Sundowns to victory.
Peter Shalulile
He has not been starting too many matches lately, but the Namibian international remains one of Sundowns' biggest threats. As the top scoring PSL player in CAF competition history, Shalulile is a player Pyramids need to keep an eye on. He has banged in 11 goals this season, three of them coming in the Champions League, including the important winner against Esperance in the quarter-finals.
Lucas Ribeiro Costa
A list of dangermen at Sundowns would not be complete without Lucas Ribeiro Costa. The Brazilian might only have two goals in the Champions League, but his impressive numbers in all competitions make him the biggest threat to Pyramids' bid to win a first ever Champions League title.

PYRAMIDS
Ibrahim Adel
Sundowns have a big job to keep the 24-year-old quiet in both legs of this clash. Playing on the wing, Adel not only assists but also contributes immensely with goals. He's on 15 goals this season and six of them have been registered in the Champions League. This goes with the 12 assists he has, so it's clear that he is a player Sundowns cannot ignore.
Mostafa Fathi
Fathi has a score to settle with Sundowns. He was at Zamalek when Sundowns beat the Egyptian giants in the 2016 final and he goes into this clash in some good form, with two goals in his last two league matches and two assists in the Champions League knockout phase. He's got the potential to upset Sundowns if they do not keep a close eye on him.
Fiston Mayele
And then there's Fiston Mayele, the DRC international who terrorised Orlando Pirates in the semi-finals. With eight goals in the Champions League this season, it would be irresponsible of Sundowns not to properly plan on how to deal with him.
