The Buccaneers’ pre-season tour includes clashes against Bolton Wanderers, Pafos FC, LaLiga outfit Las Palmas, and Granada FC, a challenging test for a side under fresh leadership.
Ouaddou, who recently revealed his decision to retain the bulk of the technical team that served under Jose Riveiro, is set to use this tour to evaluate his squad and implement his tactical blueprint ahead of the new campaign.
But with the Siya crew keeping a close eye on the travel party, the focus now shifts to a number of key players who were not seen boarding the plane — raising immediate questions about their futures at the club.

With the European tour offering valuable game time and a chance to impress the new coach, will these missing figures catch up with the squad at a later stage, or have they been left behind as Pirates consider offloading or loaning them out before the season begins?
Among the names under watch are several players whose game time has dwindled in recent months, along with others who’ve been linked with moves elsewhere. The tour could signal a fresh start for some — and a final chapter for others.
Soccer Laduma had contacted Pirates for comment on the matter but the club had not responded by the time this gallery was published.
