Bayern Munich's impressive treble-winning side already has world-class talent like Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Mueller and Serge Gnabry, but they've recently added former Manchester City German national team star Leroy Sane to their ranks. This will create a range of attacking possibilities for Munich coach Hansi Flick heading into the 2020/21 campaign. In recent UEFA Nations League fixtures, Sane featured for the German national team, which gave Munich fans a chance to see him in action after he sustained a torn ACL in August 2019 which saw him miss last season's campaign.
Speaking about Sane's current form, expert Bundesliga analyst Kres Harrington stated, "Well it's good to see his pace looks the same, he hasn't missed a step. There were signs of rust here and then. Some of his passes were misplaced, he lost the ball a few times but he's known for his gazelle-like speed, he's ghostly off the ball. He got a killer instinct and I think it's only a matter of time before he does come back to that top form that we're accustomed seeing him at. But we have to wait and see if he's gonna crack Bayern's depth, that gonna be very tough. You need minutes on the pitch and he got those, but it's gonna be a long road ahead."
