The Best Football Games On Mobile

The Best Football Games On Mobile

We know you are all football mad and would spend all day playing FIFA or PES on your consoles if you could, but sometimes you have to share the TV with your girlfriend/wife/parents/roommates while they watch TV. That doesn't mean the football gaming has to stop because you can still play on your mobile device. There are literally hundreds of football games available for mobile, unfortunately the majority of them are terrible. Luckily for you, we've compiled a list of our favourite football games available at the moment. All games available on the Google Play store and tested on an Android device.

Final Kick 2020

What makes Final Kick 2020 so great is how simply it is. The controls are quite intuitive and has a great arcade like feel to it. It's perfect for killing a few minutes, but you can sink a lot of time into it if you play a full tournament. It also has a great shootout mode if you're looking for a bit of action. Best of all it is also free to play (with some "freemium" content).

Football Manager 2020 Mobile

Football Manager Mobile 2020 is a football management simulator made by the folk at SEGA. It's unfortunately not free, but the quality certainly shows and you get the full experience with no added "freemium" elements. It's also officially licensed so you have access to most of the biggest European leagues (as well as South Korea on the U.S.A.). Like with most management simulators you have to manage all the ins and outs of a top flight football team including recruitment, transfers, tactics and off the field politics.

Dream League Soccer 2020

It's a real surprise that Dream League Soccer 2020 is free to play given how much content there is in the game. On the surface it looks like a football management simulator, but also allows you to play actual football with the team you have created. It has six divisions, leaderboards and Google Play achievements making Dream League Soccer 2020 one of the biggest and best football games on mobile.

Head Football La Liga 2020

Head Football La Liga 2020 is probably closer to Pong than it is to football, but it's still super fun and something a bit different for football fans to sink their teeth into. It features real players (well the cartoon versions of them at least) and some quirky powerups to intensify the action. A great game for spending a few minutes with easy to pick up controls.

FIFA Football

You really can't make a list of best football games without including a FIFA game on it. FIFA Football is probably the most popular football game on mobile. The graphics are some of the best for a mobile football game (assuming your mobile phone can handle it) and the gameplay is a lot more technical than most other mobile football games – if that is what you are looking for. There is also a load of content with several different game modes from online leagues, a single-player campaign mode, PvP and over 500 featured teams. As with most EA mobile games the constant push to make in-app purchases can get a tad annoying though.

eFootball PES 2020

As on console, FIFA's biggest competition comes from PES and many players and pros believe eFootball PES 2020 is the superior game, but in the end, this comes down to your own personal taste. Like FIFA it is also packed with content, great graphics and more technical controls than most mobile games. It also has some "freemium" elements which can get annoying, but what you get without even spending a cent make PES easily one of the best football games on mobile.
