EA partner with Nike

EA Sports broke the news of an exciting new venture with Nike Virtual Studios yesterday, a partnership that aims to enhance and personalise the virtual sports experience for gamers all over the world.

As mentioned in EA's press release, Nike's new partnership with EA SPORTS will look to build new immersive experiences and unlock brand-new levels of customization within the EA SPORTS' ecosystem of games, which is likely to include the rebranded FIFA, which is said to be called EA Sports FC 24.

"Nike and EA SPORTS share a commitment to innovation, creativity, and excellence, and we are thrilled to partner with them," says Ron Faris, GM of Nike Virtual Studios.

"This partnership will allow us to unlock some incredible new experiences for our .SWOOSH community and the massive EA SPORTS fan base."

"All of us at EA SPORTS are focused on leading the next evolution in sports fandom, and this new collaboration with our longtime partners at Nike sits directly at the intersection of innovation, sport, and culture," said Andrea Hopelain, SVP of Brand for EA SPORTS Racing.

The partnership between these two heavyweight brands understands the future of football culture is gearing more towards self-expression and creativity through sport and style, especially in a world where virtual creativity is growing yearly.

This partnership shows that EA are serious about pushing the boundaries of innovation in their games as they prepare for a post-FIFA era, with Nike showing EA support in their new venture early in May:
