Mayambela and other ballers on FM
The football management simulation game, developed by Sega, is relatively popular among players who take a deeper interest in the beautiful game and some others who see a future in coaching.
Mayambela's older brother, Mark, a former Orlando Pirates star is a youth coach at Cape Town City and FM is the closest thing anyone can get to being in the dugout, showing that Maya could follow in his brother's footsteps when he eventually retires.
Like FIFA, FM can be a good pass time for players during their travels or their general down time after training, so it's no surprise that Mayambela along with other top class players are interested in the game.
Chelsea veteran Cesar Azpilicueta is said to be a big Osasuna fan and manages the Spanish minnows on the game according to fourfourtwo.com, who also mentioned Liverpool's Diogo Jota, who started a save with Portuguese third-tier side, Gondomar.
Reims manager Will Still famously learnt his trade on the game, which got him quite a bit of fanfare during the club's good run earlier this year. They're currently in tenth place in Ligue 1.
During the 2018 FIFA World Cup, aforementioned French stars Griezmann and Dembele were spotted playing FM on their laptops in a flight, with the latter famously coaching an English non-league side, Winchester City FC.
