After providing details on changes they will be making to various modes in the annual title, a new gameplay trailer has showcased their focus on trying to give players more creative freedom.
Football games have often walked a tightrope between creativity, and having players feel as though they are on train tracks, and the creative runs feature looks to change all that.
By flicking the right stick on the controller right after triggering a run off the ball, you can send your player in the direction you want.
Another feature was positioning awareness, which has been elevated to improve in-game intelligence and ensure that AI improves their placement, runs and decisions to react more like world-class strikers, midfielder and defenders.
Agile dribbling was another new system which is focused on control and creativity. Make use of a player's fast footwork, and create space to shoot by using the assigned button to control the dribble.
