As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, talks between the Brazilians and Khuliso Mudau's camp had stalled, with his agent Steve Kapeluschnik indicating at the time that the parties were struggling to find common ground.

Now, insiders close to both the player and the club have indicated to Soccer Laduma that an agreement has been reached on a new two-year contract that will keep the Bafana Bafana defender at Chloorkop until June 2027.
"The new deal between Sundowns and Khuliso Mudau is believed to be as good as done and it's a two-year deal. Yes, the talks have been going on for some time now and they have found each other. It's a good move for both parties and that's why it's believed that they have finally agreed on a new deal, " the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a second source indicated that the contract includes an additional option that could potentially extend Mudau's stay with the South African champions.
"There has been mounting interests and enquiries from different clubs in Europe and its believed that Sundowns didn't want to lose him for free and apparently after agreeing on a two-year contract they added a one-year option which could see him stay at the club until June 2028 and that means they could sell him if there is interest in him from European clubs, " the insider observed.
