Timm, now 32, is coming off three solid seasons at the Buccaneers, where he played a key role in midfield and helped the club to multiple MTN8 and Nedbank Cup titles.
But with his exit at Pirates now confirmed, Siya sources have revealed that Babina Noko could be ready to reignite their interest.
Back in 2022, Sekhukhune were understood to have secured a pre-contract agreement with the midfielder while he was still on the books of Marumo Gallants.
At the time, Gallants were reluctant to lose one of their most consistent players, with Timm having featured in both league and continental competitions. He was also linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
In a dramatic turn of events, however, Timm surprised many in the local football fraternity by signing for Pirates instead, a move that paid off both for him and the club.
Now, with Sekhukhune pushing to strengthen their squad for next season, the Siya crew understands that the club has not forgotten the qualities that made Timm such a priority target back then.
His experience, composure on the ball, and big-match temperament could be exactly what Babina Noko need to take the next step.
