New Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi is understood to have a list of players he would ideally prefer to sign before the start of the season, the Siya crew has been informed.
While Amakhosi have secured goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, defenders Bongani Sam and Rushwin Dortley, and forward Gaston Sirino, they have yet to sign some of the other players on Nabi's wanted list.

Despite the unfulfilled signings at this moment in time, insiders at the club have indicated that the Tunisian-born mentor is coming to terms with the current squad and is happy to work with the players currently at Chiefs.
The Siya sources added that Nabi has accepted that he could not get many of the players he wanted but he is pleased with the support from club management in the way they are trying to sign targets.
"It's a kind of mixed feelings for the coach right now. In the last meeting the technical team had with management he proclaimed his happiness for the players he has at his disposal at the moment but still requested that if possible they get at least one left back and one more striker," said the Siya source.
"(Nabi wants) a proven goal scorer to help ease the pressure on the other strikers. But apart from that, he is satisfied with how the Sporting Director and the whole management have been working their socks off to give him what he asked for. He is now focusing on working with what he has so that whether he gets the other players or not he can produce results with the material he has at hand.
"I think he will be disappointed if the window period closes without getting at least one more player no matter who it is. In that meeting he told everyone that at times you don't get everything you want but at least the club has tried and they continue trying and that satisfies him," the insider concluded.

A second insider stated that coach Nabi has asked that if things can't work out in getting some of these players before September 30, for this transfer window then they should give it another try in January.
"With the few friendlies the team has played, the coach says he has seen some improvement and players are giving their all and that's what makes the coach happy. That's why in the meeting he asked that they should look at other transfers in January if they can't get them now," said the second Siya source.
"He however said it could have been good if they got them at the beginning but if it's out of the management's control then he understands and will see what happens in January as he wanted to have almost all the players in pre-season. So, it's a mixed feelings with more happiness than dissatisfaction," the second insider added.
