There could be a January homecoming for a Mamelodi Sundowns defender, according to insiders privy to information at Masandawana.
Siya sources close to both Katlego Mohamme and the Brazilians, have indicated that talks could be in the advanced stages for the player to return to the University of Pretoria in the upcoming transfer window.

Since recent Soccer Laduma reports of his release from Sundowns surfaced, Mohamme has been diligently keeping sharp, training independently, according to an insider.
This dedication, paired with his familiarity with Tuks, thanks to a previous stint at the club, makes a potential reunion an intriguing prospect.
"As of now he is set to join Tuks in January. Yes, he is currently a free agent but there are talks which are happening between the club and the player before he can finally join them," said the Siya source.
"It's true they know him and he knows the club as he played there before joining Sundowns but a lot has changed since the last time he was there and also he as a player has changed and he has grown as well as a person."
However, it has not been officially confirmed whether Sundowns released Mohamme or not. The source cautioned against counting any chickens before they hatch, reminding fans that official confirmation may come after the team's return from the festive break.
"So, let's wait for January when the team is back from the festive season and that's when we can say what will be happening concerning Katlego (Mohamme) coming back to Tuks, but the move is on the cards right now," the source concluded.
Soccer Laduma contacted AmaTuks for comment but no no response was received while preparing this story. The Siya crew also contacted Sundowns about this development and the club decided not to comment.
Nevertheless, could Mohamme's journey come full circle, returning to where it all began, with the University of Pretoria welcoming him back?
