Chippa United have been busy behind the scenes to secure new players and the club is expected to unveil former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns players.
The Chilli Boys have been working to prepare for the upcoming season with new coach Sinethemba Badela, who has taken over from Thabo September.

As confirmed by P Management, midfielder Azola Tshobeni has joined the Chilli Boys on a permanent deal from Pirates, bringing an end to a nine-year relationship with the Buccaneers.
Another player who is expected to join Chippa from the Buccaneers is midfielder Goodman Mosele, who did not travel to Spain for the Soweto giants' pre-season tour. Mosele looks set to join the club on loan.
Badela will have a lot of options in midfield, with Sammy Seabi set to be part of the team. The former Sundowns midfielder was with Polokwane City but left the club and is now back in the Eastern Cape for a second spell with the Chilli Boys.

Another former Sundowns player who is expected to be part of the team at Chippa this season is defender Harold Majadibodu, who was with the University of Pretoria last season. Majadibodu is a versatile defender who can play across the back four, giving coach Badela options in terms of selection.
