Respected Cameroonian coach Richard Towa is believed to be open to exploring opportunities in the Betway Premiership after guiding Colombe Sportive to a historic treble in the 2024/25 season.
Towa, 55, recently led Colombe to glory in the MTN Elite One, Cameroon Cup, and the Super Cup, capping off a remarkable campaign with a league title.

With his stock rising after this success, Towa is believed to be weighing up his next move, with sources indicating that clubs in Mzansi have shown interest.
“He is open to working in South Africa, and there might have been informal conversations between clubs and those representing the coach,” a source told the Siya crew.
“But he is not rushing. He wants to make sure that if he comes in, it’s the right fit where he can make a real impact,” the source said.
The German-Cameroonian tactician boasts an extensive coaching resume. In Germany, he worked with youth teams at Fortuna Dusseldorf, Alemannia Aachen, and KFC Uerdingen, earning accolades including the German U19 championship.
He later held roles as head coach or technical director at top-tier Cameroonian clubs including Union Douala, Feutcheu FC, and Astres de Douala, as well as stints with national youth teams and a brief spell in India with Gokulam Kerala FC.

Towa holds a UEFA Pro Licence and several coaching diplomas from Germany, where he also served as a consultant for the German Football Association during youth tournaments.
With his strong track record in player development, tactical acumen, and recent success on the continent, Towa could be a valuable addition to the PSL coaching landscape if a suitable opportunity arises.
