Brandon Truter, the seasoned Mzansi coach, is once again on the market after parting ways with Upington City FC, opening the door for an exciting new opportunity in the Betway Premiership.
Truter’s recent stint at Upington City was a return to familiar ground. In December 2024, after a difficult spell at Richards Bay FC, where disappointing results led to his departure, Truter was appointed head coach at the Motsepe Foundation Championship side.

Upington City, who finished 12th in the 2024/25 season, hoped Truter’s leadership would steady the ship and spark a turnaround.
Despite his efforts, the partnership between Truter and Upington has come to an end, making the coach available for fresh challenges.
Known for his tactical acumen and ability to motivate squads, Truter is now on the lookout for an exciting project in Mzansi’s top flight.
