Belgian coach Luc Eymael is understood to have landed in South Africa and is strongly tipped to take over at one of the Betway Premiership clubs.
As indicated to the Siya crew by close sources, the former Polokwane City coach is in line to take over as the head coach of Chippa United.

Eymael, who recently parted ways with DRC giants FC Saint Eloi Lupopo following a turbulent exit, has landed in Mzansi and is believed to be in talks with the Chilli Boys over the vacant position.
The 65-year-old tactician is no stranger to South African football, having previously worked with Rise and Shine, Black Leopards and Free State Stars, where he memorably guided Ea Lla Koto to the 2018 Nedbank Cup title.
This will not be the first time Eymael’s name has been linked with Chippa. The club had previously announced his appointment in 2020, but the deal collapsed before he could take charge.
Now, with Chippa currently in search of a permanent head coach, Eymael is once again being considered to lead the team.
Chippa, though still to make it official, have parted ways with Sinethemba Badela, who was the club’s head coach for the season. As a result, Musa Nyatama took charge of their previous match this week, where the Eastern Cape side suffered a 4-1 defeat to TS Galaxy in the Betway Premiership at Buffalo City Stadium on Tuesday.
The Gqeberha-based side, well known for their coaching changes, are now weighing up options ahead of a crucial stage in their league campaign.

Eymael’s arrival in Mzansi suggests discussions are at an advanced stage, although the club has yet to make an official announcement.
If confirmed, his appointment would see Chippa turn to an experienced figure in African football, as the club continues its search for stability and a push up the league table.
