Miguel Cardoso has revealed news that will not only upset Mamelodi Sundowns followers, but Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos as well.
Sundowns captain Themba Zwane was stretchered off with what looked like a thigh injury in the MTN8 first leg semi-final against Orlando Pirates last weekend.

It's been a tough 2025 period for Zwane, who missed a big part of Sundowns' campaign last term due to injury and was unable to get any minutes in the CAF Champions League final which the Tshwane giants lost to Egyptian side Pyramids.
Since the FIFA Club World Cup, Zwane has been featuring more in the starting line-up but has now been dealt another blow.
The experienced midfielder missed Sundowns' clash against Magesi FC on Wednesday evening and Cardoso revealed in his post-match press conference how long they expect the man popularly known as 'Mshishi' to be out for.
"Unfortunately, Themba will be out for maybe around two months. Unfortunately. But he will come back stronger, I believe. We are expecting him to come (back) as quick as possible. Since the moment he got injured, the club made everything and himself to make that time as reduced as possible. Let's hope that we can do it as short as possible," Cardoso told the media after Sundowns' victory over Magesi at Seshego Stadium.

"Look, all players when they are not 100 percent are big blows, because we suffer by everybody's problems. But he will come back again and soon he will be on the pitch. We will rise with the others."
This means Sundowns will need to get the job done this weekend in the second leg of the MTN8 against Pirates without their inspirational figure on the pitch.
Bafana coach, Broos, won't have a chance of recalling the midfielder to the squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Lesotho in September.
