Most notably, big-spending Sudanese giants Al Hilal have tabled a formal offer, as they look to move on from Congolese coach Florent Ibenge, whose contract will not be renewed.
“Yes, I can confirm we have a tabled offer from Sudanese giants Al Hilal, who are preparing for life after Florent Ibenge,” a source close to Ouaddou revealed. “We are also studying another offer from one of Tanzania’s top clubs. The coach is not rushing into any decision for now.”
The interest in Ouaddou comes despite his brief and challenging stint with Gallants, which ended under difficult circumstances.
His experience there has seemingly made him more cautious about his next move, with the coach said to be prioritising a return to the Betway Premiership if the right project presents itself.

“He is still open to staying in South Africa and coaching in the Betway Premiership. That is his preference, but of course, the offers from Sudan and Tanzania are attractive. He’s just being very careful after what happened with Marumo, he wants to make sure the next move is the right one.”
The 46-year-old former Moroccan international is known for his sharp tactical mind and strong leadership presence, which has attracted interest from clubs seeking a fresh vision heading into the 2025/26 season.
