Squad Overhaul Pending At Sekhukhune

Squad Overhaul Pending At Sekhukhune

A squad overhaul is expected to take place at Sekhukhune United at the end of the season as clubs will be making plans for the new DStv Premiership campaign.

Having assembled one of the strong squads in the league with some of the big-name and experienced players in Mzansi, changes are expected to take place at Babina Noko.

Some players are expected to be let go as the club's head coach Brandon Truter will be preparing for the start of a new campaign with the team after taking over midway through 2022/23, in November, when he replaced Kaitano Tembo.

According to well-placed sources, some players will be allowed to move on in search of regular game-time elsewhere after finding it difficult to play regularly this season.

"Like in any club, changes are expected to take place at the end of the season and some players will be let go to open space for the new signings.

The coach will look to have his own players to take to the pre-season in preparation of the new season.

The club is aiming high and will want to compete for things next season," said a source.

According to sources, the likes of Tshepo Mokhabi, Katlego Molaba, Trésor Yamba Yamba and Brandon Parusnath are some of the players likely to be affected by the planned changes.
