Agent Lauds 10-Goal Striker Signing

As expected, Mcedi Vandala secured a move to the topflight following his impressive performances in the second tier, and it was Sekhukhune United who won the race for his signature after a few clubs showed interest in his services.

Vandala, 29, had been a livewire for Magesi FC in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season where he scored 10 goals, and was instrumental in creating others for his teammates.

The player's performances and high work-rate played a big role in the Limpopo club's automatic promotion to the topflight.

Golden Arrows was among the Betway Premiership clubs that were keen on the attacker though it was Babina Noko who acted fast to win his signature during the recently concluded transfer window.

Vandala debuted for Sekhukhune against his former club Magesi when he came on as a second half substitute for Andy Boyeli at Peter Mokaba Stadium last Wednesday.

Asked about the latest developments, the player's representative Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management said, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew, "There is just something about Mcedi Vandala in the way he plays, and he reminds me of the late Sinethemba Jantjie who was a very talented player and made things happen on the field. About further details on how long he has signed for with Sekhukhune United and any other details, the club will be in a good position to provide those."
