Bafana Bafana international Thibang Phete has secured a move to the United Arab Emirates after leaving Portuguese side Belenenses SAD.
Phete parted ways with the Portuguese outfit at the end of the 2021/2022 season after his contract expired.
The 28-year-old has now opted to move to Al Bataeh Sharjah Football Club, who play in the UAE First Division League (second tier).
Phete racked up 72 appearances for Belenenses between 2020 and 2022.
The 28-year-old does have four caps for the South African national side, with his last appearance coming in the 2-1 defeat to Morocco in June.
