"I got the most amazing welcome from the team and from our club president Carlos Castro. We are playing a division lower, but this is one of the most popular teams in this country. When I was signing the final paperwork this week, that was in every newspaper in the country," he said.
Argentina is also home to late football legend, Diego Maradona, whose passing on last week sent shockwaves around the world.

"Arriving in Argentina also coincided with the news of Maradona passing on. The whole country has been in mourning with every street post carrying his picture or anything that commemorates this legend. It shows just what he meant to this football crazy Argentina. I know how famous he is, but I didn't realise just how important he was to seemingly every household in this country. Maradona's name is in every newspaper, every television channel and everything," concluded the former Maccabi FC player.
