Everton boss Roberto Martinez has echoed the praise for former Bafana Bafana captain Steven Pienaar, claiming the South African is key to how the Premier League side want to play.

Pienaar missed most parts of the season due to an injury but returned on Saturday with a bang. He came on in the 28th minute as a substitute in the 1-1 draw, following four months out of first team football.
"We have been fortunate in that he has had some time working at the training ground and today was the perfect opportunity for him to show he has worked extremely hard", Martinez told the Liverpool Echo.
"But you also see what we have been missing all season. He has been unavailable for 19 Premier League games and that is an astonishing amount of games to be without a key player, with the way we want to play.
"So on the one hand it is a positive, but on the other hand it shows he has been a real miss not to have him and Ossie for so much of the season."
Schillo has only made 11 appearances this season but he seems key to Everton's success.
The Toffees have only lost two games when Pienaar was on the pitch, compared to 14 in 34 games without him.
