Back-To-Back Wins But Pitso Still Not Satisfied…

Pitso Mosimane picked up his second consecutive win as Al Ahli Jeddah coach, but 'Jingles' remains concerned with a number of issues in his squad.

Seven points from a possible nine – that has been the story of Mosimane's short time in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The 58-year-old coach has had to hit the ground running in his plight to restore the perennial giants back to the Saudi Arabian topflight, something he is well on course to do as his side moved into third place on the log, one point behind leaders Al Faisaly, who have played a game less.

Despite his bright start, Mosimane remains concerned with his players' conditioning as well as the lack of experience in his team.

"The condition of the team is not very good. I'm asking myself what did we do in pre-season…and I don't have time to work on the physical side because we have game after game. I'll try and get it right when we have a break," he told journalists after the match.

Asked if his side would be bringing in reinforcements to add much needed depth and experience, Mosimane admitted that there are areas in which to strengthen, although he is not hellbent on making wholesome changes.

"We will make sure that we get the body right, but I don't want to talk about any other player coming because I still have these players for the next match, and we still have more games to go. We need to have confidence in the team, but of course, we need to strengthen the team."

"But it's not only to strengthen the team, the team is a very young team, very inexperienced. We need to concede 0 goals. In two games, we conceded two goals," he added.
