Pitso Mosimane praised for being a big coach by Ahly players

Pitso Mosimane has been praised for the winning effect he has had as Al Ahly coach, despite the short amount of time he has spent at the club.

So high is the demand for success at the Red Eagles, that coaches are often sacked if they fail to get a winning run going, or if they suffer a big defeat that brings embarrassment to the club.

But, for Mosimane, the ease with which he has taken up the reins at Ahly has left even his biggest detractors astonished.

Star winger Kahraba has received a new lease on life under Mosimane and feels that being a big coach, makes working with big players much easier.

"He deals with us very well on the psychological side and that make us closer to each other, which didn't happen before," Kahraba told Egyptian media after the Egyptian Cup Final.

"All the players like Mosimane whether they start or not and that's because of the way he deals with us. The best thing at Al Ahly is there is no star of the team," he explained.

Under Mosimane, Kahraba, who recently re-joined the Eagles after a stint in Portugal, started two games, scoring twice while assisting once, playing both the Champions League and Egypt Cup final triumphs.
