South African coach Fadlu Davids has landed a new job after parting ways with Maritzburg United.
Davids' departure from the Team of Choice was confirmed following the club's dramatic relegation from the DStv Premiership, which was met by some fiery words from club Chairman Farouk Kadodia, some directed towards Davids and his technical team.

However, Davids did not have to wait long for another job as he was appointed assistant coach at Moroccan giants, Raja Casablanca.

"Let's all welcome our new assistant coach who just joined the team, Davids Fadluraghman," the statement read.
Davids joins German coach Josef Zinnbauer for a third time, having worked with the coach at Orlando Pirates and briefly at Lokomotiv Moskow thereafter.
Raja managed to reach the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League, losing out to eventual winners Al Ahly and finished fifth in the 2022/23 Botola Pro League.
