Pitso’s Huge Success: 'A Lesson To South Africans’

A local coach is grateful to former Mamelodi Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe for Pitso Mosimane.

In his first attempt, Mosimane guided Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli to promotion and in doing so he confidently and deservedly said that he has awaken the sleeping giant.

"Mr. Motsepe was patient with coach Pitso and that's became a top coach and this is a lesson to South Africans to say let's allow our coaches to do their job. Let's give them space and let's give them the respect so that they can grow. I'm sorry, rather give the respect to people and space to people who tomorrow resign and leave our clubs? But we know that our local coaches will always be there and will be very loyal to our clubs, which is one part that honestly speaking I think we need to protect our local talents," said Ramoreboli, speaking to the Siya crew.

"As much as coach Pitso is doing well outside, he should be benefitting South African football. I don't know how best our association can find a way to have coach Pitso with his expertise to come and contribute to South African football. These are small things that will change our football in South Africa," the coach said.
