The 24-year-old wasted no time in Belgium following his move from Mamelodi Sundowns, being handed his first start for RUSG as they came up against third-tier outfit, Pirates, for a spot in the next round of the tournament.
Tau played 82 minutes of the game, being substituted shortly after getting off the mark, and says that he is happy to score his first goal, especially in the fashion that he finished it – dinking it over the oncoming goalkeeper.
Take a look at Tau's goal in the video below:
He told the club's official website, "I'm obviously happy with this first goal! The team is progressing well, the fans were at the rendezvous and this result is the fruit of our work.
"Scoring with a flick? I tried my luck and it went into the goal, I am especially happy that we won and we reached the next round."
The Bafana Bafana attacker will now be hoping to continue his form on Friday when RUSG return to league action against Beerschot-Wilrijk.
