Global Striking Power: Foreign Forwards Tipped for Betway Premiership Moves

The Betway Premiership could be in for an electrifying twist in the upcoming season, should some or all of the foreign strikers recently linked with South African clubs get deals over the line.

These forwards, previously reported on by Soccer Laduma, have been attracting attention from the PSL’s “Big Three” – Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns – as well as other ambitious sides in the topflight.

In this gallery, we offer a glimpse of some of the most talked-about international marksmen making waves on the rumour mill.

From West Africa to South America and Europe, the global talent pool is clearly being tapped into as clubs aim to sharpen their attacking arsenals.

Here are the countries of origin of the players featured in the gallery:

Ghana (multiple forwards currently plying their trade in the Ghana Premier League)

Spain (playing in Guatemala’s top division)

Burkina Faso (active in Rwanda’s elite league)

Nigeria (with experience in Nigeria’s Professional Football League)

Bolivia (emerging talent from the Bolivian Primera Division)

Brazil (currently based in the Maltese topflight)

Belgium (a free agent with European pedigree)

Could these strikers be the next headline-makers in Mzansi? Watch this space!
