A former Kaizer Chiefs defender feels Given Msimango was not given enough opportunities during the last season to prove his worth in the team.
Msimango completed his second season with Amakhosi but it was a difficult one which saw him spending most of his time on the bench or in the stands.

He featured 10 times in all competitions, coming in mostly as a replacement for players who were injured or suspended.
With two more years left on his contract at Naturena, Msimango will be hoping to get more opportunities in the starting line-up. It won’t be easy with Rushwin Dortley set to return to action next season after a long injury lay off.
Molefe Tsotetsi, a former Chiefs defender, believes Msimango still has a lot to offer at Chiefs and it’s just a matter of head coach Nasreddine Nani giving him a chance to play.
“To be honest, I think Msimango didn’t get enough chances this past season. For me, he is a natural defender and I believe he still has so much to offer the team,” Tsotetsi said to Soccer Laduma.

“He can still solve the problem that Chiefs have at the back, but he has to be given enough opportunities to gain his confidence again. He has done it before and he can do it again. I think he still has a lot to offer Chiefs. If given a chance again, I think he can add value to the team.”
