Exit Looming For Pirates Star?

Exit Looming For Pirates Star?

News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates look set to make a decision on the future of one of the club's 2022 signings.

Indications are that the Buccaneers are contemplating the future of striker Bienvenu Eva Nga who joined the team at the start of the current season.

Sources have revealed that the the 30-year-old has failed to settle in at the team and has fallen down the pecking order, thus struggling for game-time.

"The team has almost made up their mind about Eva Nga. They want to release him at the end of the season. They feel like he has struggled to settle at the team and that's why they are looking at other options for next season. It will, however, all depend on the negotiations because he still has another year remaining on his contract. He signed a two-year contract when he joined from Chippa United," a source revealed to the Siya crew.

When contacted for comment, Pirates official Stanley 'Screamer' Tshabalala said that he was away and the people in the office are the ones who know more.

"I am not in the office right now. I am away. The people in the office can help. For now, there is nothing I can say about that," Tshabalala said.

As previously reported by the Siya crew, Bucs may be open to listening to offers for the Cameroonian, with indications that his former club, Chippa United, are believed to be keeping a close eye on the developments.
