With Orlando Pirates having Ethan Visagie as part of their recruitment of young players, the goalkeeper is being touted for success at the club.
Although he wasn't part of the Pirates squad that came back from Spain on Sunday after two weeks of pre-season, 22-year-old Visagie is believed to be having a future with the club.

During their camp in Spain, the Buccaneers had Bayanda Zulu (19) and Siyabonga Dladla (23) as additional goalkeepers to the first team duo of Sipho Chaine and Melusi Buthelezi.
Former Pirates striker James Mothibi is Visagie's mentor, having worked with the keeper at his academy, and he is delighted about the latest developments in his career.
"When I spotted Ethan Visagie, it was during a tournament in Beaufort West, and he was playing there. He was playing for a team that was coached by a friend of mine, Willem Klink. I took Ethan to Orlando Pirates when he was 18 and the club was impressed with him for their development team. However, there were certain aspects of his game that he was advised to work on such as his communication and helping the team to build from the back. I took him under my wing, worked with him to help him to improve. He later joined Northern Cape Professionals, and I would like to use this platform to thank the club for the great work they have done with the player," said Mothibi.

"I have no doubt that under Pirates goalkeeper coach Tyron (Damons), the boy will continue to grow. Tyron is a highly qualified goalkeeper coach, and he is good at what he does with the Pirates first team goalkeepers. What I can say is that I recommended one of the best goalkeepers to have come out of the Northern Cape to Pirates and I am happy that he was signed. I wish the boy everything of the best in his journey with the club. He has been a disciplined boy since childhood, and I give him my blessings for success at the club. His mother is very proud of him," he concluded.
Visagie helped NC Professionals to reach the ABC Motsepe League national playoffs in the 2023/24 season.
