Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has spoken happily about the progress of one of the new players in the squad following the team's most recent victory.
The Buccaneers defeated Djabal Club 3-0 in their second CAF Champions League preliminary round match at the Orlando Stadium on Friday to advance to the next round of the competition with a 4-0 victory on aggregate, having defeated the side from Comoros 1-0 away from home last weekend.

One of the top performers for Bucs on the evening was Patrick Maswanganyi who was signed from SuperSport United at the end of last season and Riveiro has been impressed with how the midfielder had fitted in the team.
"For me, if I have to highlight something about the new players who are new in this environment, playing for Pirates is not an easy thing, so starting to show the level from the first day and from the first game we played is something to highlight and I'm happy to see the progression of the guy. It's important also to understand that he is surrounded by very good players that make things also easy for each and every individual in the team," said Riveiro, speaking to the media.

"We try to focus as much as we can in the collective and I understand that that collective structure is going to help each and every player to shine and to perform in the best level it doesn't matter who is playing. We try to do it always in the same way with obviously the different details that every player is going to put on the table. So, (I am), very happy," the coach said.
