Orlando Pirates new signings

Orlando Pirates have wasted no time in the transfer market, confirming Sipho Mbule and several other new signings as part of their squad rebuild for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Having announced Mbule on Tuesday, who joined from Mamelodi Sundowns following a loan spell at Sekhukhune United, the Soweto giants have confirmed more signings in Tshepo Mashiloane, Masindi Nemtajela, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Yanela Mbuthuma, Tshepang Moremi, Sihle Nduli and Sinoxolo Kwayiba.

With these new arrivals, the Buccaneers are making a clear statement of intent as they prepare for a demanding campaign across local and continental competitions.

The transfer activity comes in the wake of the club’s announcement of Abdeslam Ouaddou as head coach. The Moroccan tactician, who guided Marumo Gallants to safety last season, is tasked with ushering in a new era of structure, intensity, and consistency at the club.

Ouaddou is expected to link up with the squad later this week, alongside technical team members Mandla Ncikazi, Rayaan Jacobs, Helmi Gueldich, and Tyron Damons.

The team is scheduled to embark on a high-performance tour to Marbella, Spain, from July 8 to 20.

With the club’s transfer business still active, more player movement is anticipated in the coming days as Pirates look to fine-tune their squad for both the Betway Premiership and the CAF Champions League.
