Jyri Nieminen Has Officially Left Orlando Pirates

It's been confirmed that one of Orlando Pirates' technical team members has left the club.

The Siya crew reported in this week's edition of Soccer Laduma that talks were underway behind the scenes about the immediate future of Pirates' goalkeeper coach, Jyri Nieminen, with sources indicating at the time that the 33-year-old could likely be heading out the exit door.

As predicted by the Siya crew, Nieminen has since confirmed on his official Twitter account that he's officially parted ways with the Buccaneers.

"South Africa and Orlando Pirates thanks for everything. It was an educational and valuable experience. I am so grateful that I got to learn from this unique culture. The journey must continue, but now it's time to rest and reflect. Will be very much needed after 2 years on the road," he said.
