Tshegofatso Mabaso came to Orlando Pirates' rescue for the second week in a row as the Soweto giants kept their unbeaten record with a 1-1 draw against Baroka.

Pirates made five changes from the win over SuperSport United, as Paseka Mako, Linda Mntambo, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Nkanyiso Zungu and Terrence Dzvukamanja were all recalled while Gabadinho Mhango recovered from injury to make the bench.
The Buccaneers took the initiative to attack in the early stages, with Bakgaga playing with numbers behind the ball and the hosts could not penetrate them in the final third.
Zakhele Lepasa came the closest to breaking the deadlock for Josef Zinnbauer's charges on the half-hour mark after finding space inside the box but his powerful low shot missed the near post slightly wide.
Mako came close to giving them the lead eight minutes before the break with a deflected shot that looked destined for the top corner but goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke made a good save as the sides went to the break scoreless.
Baroka settled the quickest afte the break, as Ananias Gebhardt gave the visitors the lead two minutes inside the second stanza with a half-volley into an empty net after shot-stopper Richard Ofori spilled a corner into the defender's path
Kgodiso Monama almost made it 2-0 for Matsimela Thoka's troops four minutes later with a long range looping strike that came off the outside of the top post.
Second-half substitute Mabasa came close to levelling matters for the Buccaneers in the last 20 minutes with a low strike at the near post that hit the side-netting after Lepasa sent him through on goal.
Pirates had the momentum in the closing phase of the first stanza and Mabasa eventually snatched the equaliser in stoppage time with a strike into a gaping net after a cut-back by Deon Hotto as the sides shared the spoils.
