A former Orlando Pirates winger has given his thoughts on who should replace Jose Riveiro as head coach of the Buccaneers.
Riveiro sat on the bench for the final time in Pirates' 3-0 victory over Golden Arrows at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday night, ending one of the most memorable tenures for a coach at the club.

With so much success, the next Pirates coach will have big shoes to fill. Former Bucs winger Bennett Chenene feels that there is no need for the club to look outside for a coach because they have a man capable of doing the job in their current technical team. That man, Chenene believes, is Mandla Ncikazi, who has previously occupied the hotseat.
"You know what, I feel they should continue with the same technical team. Ncikazi should continue because a new coach would come in and change everything. Coaches come in with different ideas, but the current technical team has the system that Riveiro had," Chenene said to Soccer Laduma.

"Bringing in someone new is not always ideal. You are starting from scratch and then you can go through the period where they are no trophies. So, they should just continue with Ncikazi and then they can take it from there. That's my advice for Pirates."
Ncikazi has been appointed interim coach for the last three matches of the season.
