Nedbank Cup Result: Polokwane City 0-2 Baroka Date: 24 April 2016 Venue: Old Peter Mokaba Stadium Baroka FC collected their third top-flight scalp on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Polokwane City in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals. The game was off to a cagey start before a clever free kick routine from Polokwane required some determined defending to keep out. Baroka came closest to scoring in the 27th minute when Donald Mokondelela sent his attempt narrowly wide of the target. After a dry spell, the visitors finally broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute. Mathupa was the man of the moment as he headed home from close range after the initial effort from Motshegwa hit the bar. Baroka were all over their hosts on the stroke of half-time and doubled their lead. Mokondelela was influential in the build-up with his strong running before Makgaka slotted the finish.
