Former Orlando Pirates coach Owen da Gama has explained why he feels the Soweto derby defeat for the Buccaneers could inspire them to success in the MTN8.

Pirates suffered a 1-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs last Saturday and have another big game today, as they take on AmaZulu in the MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

"I definitely believe that this will be a win for Orlando Pirates. After their last match against Chiefs...as they say 'you are as good as your last game'. AmaZulu come off a win, so Pirates will be going out to redeem themselves and erase that result of the Kaizer Chiefs game. I believe Pirates has a better squad than AmaZulu. I put my money on Orlando Pirates," Da Gama said to the Siya crew.
