University of Pretoria 3-2 Cape Town Spurs
Last season's play-off contenders University of Pretoria registered their first triumph of the new season with a 3-2 victory over Cape Town Spurs.
AmaTuks were lively in the opening 45 minutes and went on to grab three goals though Khomotso Marebane, Nhlanhla Zwane and Delano Abrahams.
Spurs attempted a late comeback with two goals in the final 10 minutes, but the hosts managed to hold on for the win.
Baroka FC 3-1 Pretoria Callies
Baroka FC got their first win at the third attempt after seeing off Pretoria Callies 3-1 at Global Stadium.
The Limpopo side opened the season with a defeat and a loss in the last two weeks, but they were able to bounce back on home soil.
Vincent Kobola's charges netted three goals on the day, with Benjamin van Heerden and Dan Ndlovu among the goals while Thobani Jacobs netted Callies' consolation.
Platinum City Rovers 1-4 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila
Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila made it back-to-back wins in the league with a 4-1 thrashing of Platinum City Rovers.
Veteran striker Thabiso Nkoana netted a brace, while Moeketsi Sekola and Mthokozisi rounded off the scoring for TTM.
Rovers, meanwhile, sit bottom of the standings after three losses in their opening three encounters.
Black Leopards 1-0 NB La Masia
Black Leopards got their campaign up and running with a 1-0 triumph over NB La Masia on Wednesday afternoon.
After starting the campaign with back-to-back losses, Leopards, finally got their first three-point haul of the season at the expense of the new boys.
Uthongathi FC 1-0 Hungry Lions
Uthongathi bagged their second win of the campaign after edging past Hungry Lions 1-0 at the Princes Magogo Stadium.
Thato Mohlamme got the game's only goal for the hosts on 22 minutes, while there could have been a second if only Mfanafuthi Mkhize had not missed a penalty eight minutes later.

JDR Stars 6-0 Magesi FC
JDR Stars grabbed their first win of the Motsepe Foundation Championship season in fine style after thrashing Magesi FC 6-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
The hosts took a 3-0 lead into the break after Zimbabwean striker Ishmael Wadi bagged himself a first-half hat-trick.
Kamohelo Sithole added the fourth goal on 71 minutes, before Tshepang Moremi netted a brace in the final 11 minutes to complete the rout for Stars.
Polokwane City 1-0 Venda Football Academy.
Polokwane City maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign with a narrow victory over Venda Football Academy.
Puleng Marema netted the only goal of the home side in the second half, while the visitors finished the game with ten men after Ricardo Versuur's sending off.
The win was Rise and Shine's second in a row and took them to summit of the Championship standings after three rounds.
Casric Stars FC 0-0 All Stars
Casric Stars FC and All Stars could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw on Tuesday afternoon.
The home side are yet to taste defeat after three games and sit two places above their opponents, who boast a similar record this campaign so far.
