AmaTuks Move Top, Polokwane Climb To Third

University of Pretoria registered a third straight win in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after defeating JDR Starz 2-0.

Nhlanhla Zwane opened the scoring for AmaTuks shortly after the halftime break, before Kamohelo Pheeane doubled the advantage shortly after the hour mark.

Venda Football Academy 1-0 Baroka FC

Venda Football Academy picked up their second win of the season after defeating Baroka FC 1-0.

Rhulani Manzini bagged the game's only goal in the 35th minute to send the side up to 11th spot, while Baroka suffer their second defeat of the season.

All Stars 0-0 Uthongathi

All Stars and Uthongathi could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw on Saturday afternoon.

All Stars remain unbeaten after five matches while Uthongathi register their third draw of the season.

Casric Stars 3-1 Black Leopards

Casric got back to winning ways after with a 3-1 victory over Black Leopards on Saturday afternoon.

Kgomotso Mosadi, Mumuni Abubakar and Mpho Khabane managed to find the back of the net for the home side.

Leopards, meanwhile, find themselves in 15th position with one win from their opening five matches.

Pretoria Callies 2-1 NB La Masia

Pretoria Callies got their first win at the fifth attempt after defeating NB La Masia 2-1 on Saturday.

The win takes Callies out of the bottom two slots.

Cape Town City loanee Mogamat May netted on his debut for La Masia, who find themselves in 13th position after five games.

Magesi 1-1 Tshakhuma FC

Tshakhuma FC missed the chance to reclaim top spot after drawing 1-1 with Magesi FC at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Thokozani Hlubi got the opener for Magesi after 20 minutes, but the away side managed to bag the equaliser with 10 minutes left on the clock.

Polokwane City 2-0 Hungry Lions

Polokwane City got back to winning ways in the league with 2-0 victory over Hunry Lions at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Rise and Shine suffered defeat to All Stars before the FIFA break, while Lions defeated Platinum City Rovers in their last outing.

However, City grabbed maximum points on Sunday afternoon thanks to goals from Francis Baloyi and Puleng Marema.
