Orbit College Cement Top Spot, Maritzburg Remain Unbeaten

University of Pretoria 0-0 NB La Masia

University of Pretoria dropped points for the third time this season after they were held to a goalless draw by NB La Masia on Sunday afternoon at ABSA Tuks Stadium.

AmaTuks collected their fifth point of the campaign after they came to the game on a back of a win over Milford while La Masia also picked up their fifth point of the season.

Baroka 0-0 Maritzburg United

Maritzburg United remained unbeaten after a goalless draw against Baroka on Sunday afternoon at Global Stadium.

The Team of Choice retained their third position on the table with eight points, just two points behind surprise leaders Orbit College.

Bakgaga, meanwhile, remained without a win after four matches, with only two points to show for their efforts.

Saturday, 23 September 

Upington City 2-3 Orbit College

Orbit College maintained their perfect start and remained at the top of the table after edging Upington City 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at Dobsonville Stadium.

Orbit grabbed the lead within 13 minutes but Nel quickly levelled matters for Upington five minutes later.

The visitors regained their lead on 24 minutes but they were pegged back again by Bafana Ba Gucci just after the hour-mark after Carl Lark found the back of the net.

However, Orbit snatched the winner in the last minute.

Magesi 2-0 Black Leopards

Magesi won their third game in four matches after beating rivals ten-man Black Leopards 2-0 in the Limpopo derby on Saturday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Bafedile Baloyi opened the scoring for Dikwena with only four minutes on the clock and Mcedi Vandala doubled their lead early in the second stanza.

Leopards were reduced to ten men shortly after the hour-mark after Zulu was red-carded for a dangerous tackle and could recover after that.

Magesi remained second on the table, just two points behind leaders Orbit College.

Marumo Gallants 1-0 Milford

Marumo Gallants won their first game of the season after a narrow 1-0 win over Milford on Saturday afternoon at Isak Steyl Stadium.

Cyrille Nguessan scored the decisive goal for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa midway through the first stanza.

Casric Stars 2-0 Hungry Lions

Casric Stars won their second game of the season after beating Hungry Lions 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.

Parsley Fielies broke the deadlock for Casric just after the half-hour mark and Ofentse Thloloe secured the three points with the second goal in the last 22 minutes.

Venda Football Academy 1-0 Platinum City Rovers

Venda Football Academy finally won for the first time after edging Platinum City Rovers 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Athini Jodwana opened the scoring for Venda on 19 minutes and that was enough to hand them their first three-point haul.

Friday, 22 September

Pretoria Callies 0-0 JDR Stars

Pretoria Callies and JDR Stars both remained unbeaten after a goalless draw on Friday afternoon at TUT Stadium.

Callies drew their fourth successive game, three of which have been goalless while JDR were also involved a scoreless stalemate for the third time.
