Black Leopards 1-1 Richards Bay

Richards Bay missed the chance to move three points clear at the top of the table after they were held to a last-gasp 1-1 draw by Black Leopards on Wednesday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Sibonginhlanhla Mthethwa eventually broke the deadlock for the Natal Rich Boyz two minutes from the half-time break, however, Lidoda Duvha salvaged the share of the spoils with the equaliser deep in stoppage time.

JDR Stars 2-3 Cape Town Spurs

Cape Town Spurs came back from two goals down to beat JDR Stars in a five-goal thriller on Wednesday afternoon at Giant Stadium.

Nhlanhla Zwane gave the Hammers Boys a dream start with the opener in the third minute and Temptation Chiwunga doubled their lead on the half-hour mark from the penalty spot.

However, Spurs pulled a goal back on the half-hour mark and Chumani Butsaka levelled matters just two minutes later.

Gregory Damons snatched what proved to be the winner for Shaun Bartlett's men just three minutes thereafter.

Jomo Cosmos 3-1 Polokwane City

Relegation-threatened Jomo Cosmos clinched only their third win of the campaign after thrashing Polokwane City 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon at Vosloorus Stadium.

Onke Moletshe gave Ezenkosi an early lead in the seventh minute but Rise and Shine found the equaliser ten minutes later.

However, Thabo Maphakisa restored the lead for Jomo Sono's charges in the last minute and Sifiso Nkosi sealed the deal in stoppages.

University of Pretoria 3-1 Free State Stars

University of Pretoria won their third game in a row after thrashing Free State Stars 3-1 on Tuesday afternoon at ABSA Tuks Stadium.

Moeketsi Sekola gave Ea Lla Koto the lead in the 14th minute but Thabang Sibanyoni levelled matters for AmaTuks six minutes later.

Luvuyo Phewa gave the hosts a 2-1 lead just after the half-hour mark and Wonderboy Makhubu sealed the deal in the last minute.

Hungry Lions 4-0 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila

Hungry Lions ended their three-match winless run after thumping Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 4-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Sivos Training Centre Stadium.

Ricardo Aron broke the deadlock for Lions in the second stanza, Tshepo Mohlala doubled their lead 20 minutes before time and late goals by Angelo Van Rooi and Anslin Williams secured a rampant win.

Cape Town All Stars 1-2 Platinum City Rovers

Platinum City Rovers got back to winning ways after edging Cape Town All Stars 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Parow Park.

City Rovers moved up to eighth on the log with 31 points, four points off the promotion play-off spots while Igugu Lekapa remained in fifth place, just a point shy of the promotion play-offs spots.

Pretoria Callies 1-0 TS Sporting

Pretoria Callies won for the first time in four matches after a narrow and late 1-0 win over TS Sporting on Tuesday evening at Bidvest Stadium.

The sides entered the half-time break without goals and an own goal by Siyabonga Dubula in the last 12 minutes gave the Romans all the three points.

Uthongathi 0-0 Venda Football Academy

Uthongathi extended their winless run to ten matches after they were held to a goalless draw by Venda Football Academy on Tuesday evening at Princess Magogo Stadium.

A point took the Cane Cutters up to ninth on the standings with 30 points while VFA remained in sixth place with 34 points, just a point off the promotion play-off spot.
