Stars and Spurs both lodged protests of City failing to properly registering a player, with the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee holding the hearings last week.

However, the Durban outfit have now confirmed that both Spurs and Stars' cases have been dismissed.
"The arbitration case against us by JDR Stars and Cape Town Spurs has been dismissed with costs," the club announced on X.
"We’re officially the champions of the #MotsepeFoundationChampionship and next season, we play in the @OfficialPSL Premier Division.
"This moment is for our city."
As a result, Spurs' relegation to the ABC Motsepe League is now official while Orbit College, Casric Stars and Cape Town City will compete in the play-offs.
The PSL are yet to confirm the dates for the start of the play-offs, although City have lodged a formal objection of their own regarding the league's decision to resume the abandoned Betway Premiership clash between SuperSport United and Golden Arrows.
