Royal endured a tough start to the season with back-to-back defeats to Swallows and Cape Town City but they have since turned around their fortunes.
Thwihli Thwahla clinched back-to-backs wins for the first time with a famous 4-1 thrashing of Kaizer Chiefs last weekend, which took them up to fifth on the log with six points and they can leapfrog Orlando Pirates in fourth spot if they clinch a third win on the bounce.
In contrast, the Rockets are yet to register a three-point haul so far this season, with their two points coming from two draws against Chiefs and Golden Arrows.
Galaxy suffered their second defeat after going down 3-0 against Mamelodi Sundowns last Sunday and that result pushed them further back to 15th on the log.
