Mhango Facing Disciplinary Action After Latest Incident?

Mhango Facing Disciplinary Action After Latest Incident?

Marumo Gallants will be launching an investigation into a driving incident of striker Gabadinho Mhango, with the possibility of the club taking strong action if needed.

A video of Mhango has been doing the rounds on social media, with the player looking dazed after he allegedly hit another vehicle in Bloemfontein. This came after Gallants registered their first victory of the season against AmaZulu at Free State Stadium.

Mhango had blood on his forehead, as witnesses gathered around his car to see if he was okay. The Siya crew got in touch with Gallants spokesperson and supporters coordinator Sello Nduna, who confirmed that they are looking into the matter before deciding on what action to take.

Look, unfortunately we saw this thing very late yesterday on the social media space. That's when some of our guys from the team tried to go check him at our official residence. So, we are still gathering more information as to what could have happened and then we will obviously have to deal with it accordingly because as a team we don't encourage such behaviour, especially for something which is against the law," Nduna said to the Siya crew.

"But, like I am saying, we are still gathering information and we will obviously take out a statement. We need to deal with all the facts. We don't want to react on all these social media things that we've seen. Like I am saying, we don't condone such behaviour, especially if it's against the law. We will follow the team's disciplinary measures."

It's unclear at this stage if Mhango will get a fine or suspension.
