The 20-year-old performance analyst, who stunned the local football fraternity by landing his first professional role with Moroka Swallows at just 18, leaves Chloorkop after an impressive spell that saw him achieve remarkable milestones.

Valodia, the son of long-term performance analyst Goolam Valodia, quickly established himself as one of the country’s most promising analysts thanks to his extraordinary commitment and understanding of the modern game.

After impressing at Swallows, Valodia joined Mamelodi Sundowns, where he continued to sharpen his craft in one of the most competitive football environments on the continent.

During his meteoric rise, Valodia was appointed as an analyst for the South Africa U17 national team, playing a pivotal role in helping the junior national side qualify for the FIFA U17 World Cup. His expertise then earned him a role with the South Africa U20 team, where he contributed to their successful qualification campaign and ultimately lifted the U20 Africa Cup of Nations title, cementing his reputation as a rising star in performance analysis.

Valodia’s achievements at such a young age have been nothing short of phenomenal.

His time at Sundowns added another layer of elite experience to his resume, as he worked closely with some of the continent’s top players and coaching staff in a high-performance environment.
