Newly signed Mamelodi Sundowns defender Khuliso Mudau has been touted to be a success in Chloorkop.
Sundowns confirmed on Friday that Mudau has been signed on a five-year deal by the club, and as reported in edition 1194 of Soccer Laduma, Lidoda Duvha are believed to have cashed in on around R5 million transfer fee for the signature of the right-back, according to Siya sources.

"He has been consistent and remember that he is a converted winger to a right-back position, and he knows the tricks. He's the same as me, he is in the same mould as me, if I may put it that way. The only difference is that he plays with the right (foot) and I was playing with the left. We are within the same mould; he has the engine to go up and down," former Sundowns defender James Mayinga told the Siya crew.

"The more he will be playing with players of the quality at Sundowns it's the more we will be seeing the best out of him, not taking away from the Leopards players but remember that players at bigger teams elevate you to another level. His tackling is perfect. He is timeously in terms of tackling and going forward, which is the most crucial aspect of a wingback and his recovery is good and he doesn't crack under pressure. He just has to continue doing what he did at Leopards but at three times the level and he will be knocking in that Bafana Bafana door," said Mayinga.
